Merdeka Football Festival 1960 which later known as Merdeka Cup was held in Merdeka Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaya. During this tournament, the final match was between Malaya against South Korea. The result was, Malaya and South Korea tied 0-0 result with no score from both teams. Therefore, Malaya and South Korea were joint champions for this Merdeka Football Festival 1960.
